To process rough paste into steady particulate paste with less variation in particle size.SOLUTION: A stone mill 10 for paste that processes rough paste into particulate paste comprises: an upper mill 1 in an approximately columnar shape having a recessed part 1d in an approximately conical shape formed at a center part of a lower mill opposing surface; and a lower mill 2 in an approximately columnar shape having an upper mill opposing surface opposing to the lower mill opposing surface of the upper mill and having a protruding part 2d in an approximately conical shape which is smaller in diameter than the recessed part formed in a region opposing to the recessed part 1d.
