Zusammenfassung:To provide: a seasoning composition packed in a container whose odor arising from thermal deterioration is reduced, such as a retort odor based on the contained food materials such as soy sauce, meat, and soybean protein; a processed food including the composition; and a method for producing the processed food, and the like.SOLUTION: A seasoning composition packed in a container contains at least one food material selected from the group consisting of a seasoning component, vegetables, meat, and fish and shellfish, and has a phenethyl acetate content of 1.0-1,000 ppb (exclusive of 1,000). There is also provided a processed food including the composition and a food material as the raw materials.
