HEAT EXCHANGER COIL CLEANING METHOD

To provide a ceiling-mounted air conditioner which enables a worker to perform cleaning to a fin surface of a coil without moving down the coil from a frame body even in a limited space within a ceiling and scattering water to members other the coil.SOLUTION: In a heat exchanger coil cleaning structure in an air conditioner, at a fan coil unit of the ceiling mounted air conditioner, an upstream inspection port is provided on a frame body side surface at an upstream side of a coil serving as a heat exchanger and a downstream inspection port is provided on a frame body side surface at the downstream side of the coil. When the coil is cleaned, a lid of the upstream inspection port is opened and a cleaning baffle plate for blocking scattering water is inserted into an upstream side of the upstream inspection port so as to be arranged in parallel to the coil. Similarly, a lid of the downstream inspection port is opened and a cleaning baffle plate for blocking scattering water is inserted so as to be arranged in parallel to the coil. After the cleaning baffle plates for blocking scattering water are inserted into both sides of the coil, a cleaning nozzle for cleaning is inserted into the upstream inspection port to clean the coil.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】天井配置の空気調和機において、天井内の限られたスペースでもコイルを枠体から降ろすことなく、コイル以外の部材に水を飛散させることなく、コイルのフィン面まで清掃を行うことできる空気調和機を提供する。【解決手段】天井設置する空気調和機のファンコイルユニットにおいて、熱交換器であるコイルの上流側の枠体側面に上流点検口を設け、該コイルの下流側の枠体側面の下流点検口を設け、前記上流点検口はコイル洗浄時には、上流点検口の蓋を開けて上流点検口の上流側に散水遮断の為の清掃用バッフル板をコイルに平行に挿入し、同様に前記下流点検口の蓋を開けて散水遮断の為の清掃用バッフル板をコイルに平行に挿入し、前記コイルを両側に散水遮断の為の清掃用バッフル板を挿入した後に上流点検口に清掃用の洗浄ノズルを挿入してコイルを洗浄することができる空気調和機における熱交換器コイルの清掃構造。【選択図】図１
