Zusammenfassung:To provide a flue gas treatment material that can achieve both removal of an acidic gas in a flue gas and elution suppression of heavy metals with a use amount equal to or less than before, and treat the flue gas.SOLUTION: A flue gas treatment material of the present invention contains calcium dihydrogen phosphate powder and calcium hydroxide powder, and in which a volume-based cumulative 50% particle diameter D50, measured by laser diffraction scattering type measurement, of the calcium dihydrogen phosphate is less than 180 μm. The present invention also provides a method for treating the flue gas in which the flue gas treatment material is brought into contact with an acidic gas and heavy metal-containing flue gas to treat the acidic gas and heavy metal in the flue gas.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】従来と同等以下の使用量で、排煙中の酸性ガスの除去及び重金属類の溶出抑制を両立して、排煙を処理することができる排煙処理材を提供すること。【解決手段】本発明の排煙処理材は、リン酸二水素カルシウムの粉末と、水酸化カルシウムの粉末とを含み、前記リン酸二水素カルシウムのレーザー回折散乱式測定により測定した体積基準累積50%粒子径D50が180μm未満である。また本発明は、前記排煙処理材と、酸性ガス及び重金属を含む排煙とを接触させて、該排煙中の酸性ガス及び重金属を処理する排煙の処理方法も提供する。【選択図】図1
