Zusammenfassung:To provide a method for producing seedling culture soil that is composed of a material having excellent biodegradability, combines excellent workability with excellent solidification properties, and prevents delay in growth of plants, a seedling culture soil obtained by the production method, and a method for culturing plants with the seedling culture soil.SOLUTION: A method for producing seedling culture soil includes blending a culture soil base (A), a polyvalent cation salt of alginic acid (B), and a monovalent cation salt of alginic acid (C), the monovalent cation salt of alginic acid (C) containing alginic acid ammonium salt. There are also provided a seedling culture soil obtained by the production method, and a method for culturing plants with the seedling culture soil.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】生分解性に優れる材料からなり、優れた作業性と優れた固化性とを両立し、植物の生育遅延が抑制された育苗培土の製造方法、該製造方法で得られる育苗培土及び該育苗培土を用いた植物の栽培方法を提供する。【解決手段】培土基材(A)と、アルギン酸の多価カチオン塩(B)と、アルギン酸の1価カチオン塩(C)と、を配合する育苗培土の製造方法であり、前記アルギン酸の1価カチオン塩(C)が、アルギン酸アンモニウム塩を含有する、育苗培土の製造方法、該製造方法で得られる育苗培土及び該育苗培土を用いた植物の栽培方法である。【選択図】なし
