To provide a display with a simple structure provided with an input function.SOLUTION: A display is provided with: a display unit that includes a plurality of electrodes Rx/CE arranged two-dimensionally on a substrate SUB 1; a touch detection chip TSC that is formed on a flexible wiring board FPC 1 that connects the substrate and an external device with each other, supplies driving signals for touch detection to the plurality of electrodes, and receives signals from the plurality of electrodes; and a switching circuit SWG that is formed on the substrate and includes a plurality of transistors selecting at least one of the plurality of electrodes. The flexible wiring board includes, at a connection part with the substrate, a plurality of pads connected respectively with the plurality of electrodes. The touch detection chip includes a plurality of detection units SE that are connected respectively to the plurality of pads, supply the plurality of driving signals respectively to the plurality of pads, and detect signals from the plurality of electrodes supplied from the plurality of pads.
