To provide an activated carbon containing filter for purifying a plating solution capable of efficiently removing decomposition products generated from additives from the plating solution.SOLUTION: A filter for purifying a plating solution has a molded body 6 containing an adsorbent comprising activated carbon and having an iodine adsorption capacity per unit mass of 930-1,300 mg/g.
