【課題】表示デバイスの実際の階調特性に対応させて、表示する画像データを所望の階調特性とする。【解決手段】画像補正モジュール(20)は、前記表示デバイスの最大輝度および最小輝度を用いて、前記画像データの階調特性を所望の階調特性に変更するガンマ変更部(240)と、階調特性変更後の変更後階調特性と、所望の階調特性の理論値との差分を導出し、導出した差分を前記入力された画像データの階調特性に反映する表示デバイス補正部(230)と、差分が反映された階調特性に対し、表示デバイス(40)の階調特性に応じたガンマ変換を行い、出力する表示デバイスガンマ変換部(220)とを備える。【選択図】図1 |
