To prevent removal of a drive shaft in a relatively easy manner when the drive shaft is inserted into an oil pan of an engine and extends from a differential device to the other side in a vehicle width direction.SOLUTION: In a vehicle power unit device, an oil pan 40 includes a shaft support part 60 at the vehicle body right side. A drive shaft 30 includes an oil pan insertion part 31d and a diameter expansion part 31f. A removal prevention member 80 is fitted in a portion, which is located at the vehicle body left side relative to the diameter expansion part 31f, of the drive shaft 30 and a bearing 61 is press-fitted in the drive shaft 30 located at the vehicle body left side relative to the removal prevention member 80.
