To easily set a suitable input ICC profile.SOLUTION: An ink jet printer according to the present invention stores a plurality of output ICC profiles (S01) corresponding to a printing condition and a plurality of input ICC profiles (S02) having different color region shapes or sizes. The ink jet printer selects the output ICC profile corresponding to the set printing condition from the plurality of stored output ICC profiles (S05). The ink jet printer generates a plurality of color regions by converting printing image data with A2B tables of the plurality of input ICC profiles (S07), and calculates the overlapping rate with the color region of the selected output ICC profile (S08).
