Zusammenfassung: | To appropriately attain both the impact transmission capability and impact absorption capability of a front pillar, and reliably ensure the openability and closability of a front door.SOLUTION: Each of a pillar body 10 and window frame 20 has a high-strength region 50H, which exhibits a predetermined strength so as to support a front door, and a low-strength region 50L, which exhibits a lower strength than the high-strength region 50H does and can therefore deform in response to a load inputted from ahead of a vehicle, formed to adjoin in a vehicular fore-and-aft direction. The border (lower border 51) between the high-strength region 50H and low-strength region 50L of the pillar body 10 and the border (upper border 52) between the high-strength region 50H and low-strength region 50L in respective oblique frame parts 25 and 24 of the window frame 20 are aligned with each other in the vehicular fore-and-aft direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
【課題】フロントピラーの衝撃伝達性と衝撃吸収性をより適切に両立させて、フロントドアの開閉性をより確実に確保することにある。【解決手段】ピラー本体部10と窓枠部20には、各々、フロントドアを支持するために所定の強度を備えた高強度部位50Hと、高強度部位50Hよりも低強度とされることにより車両前方から入力された荷重による変形が可能な低強度部位50Lとが車両前後方向から隣接するように設けられており、ピラー本体部10における高強度部位50Hと低強度部位50Lの境界部(下側の境界部51)と、窓枠部20の斜め枠部24,25における高強度部位50Hと低強度部位50Lの境界部(上側の境界部52)とが、車両前後方向において位置合わせされた状態で形成されている。【選択図】図5 |
