Zusammenfassung:To provide a method and an apparatus to improve a processing performance when the amount of a biofilm held in a processing device increases, by continuously operating aerobic biofilm treatment with self-granulation granules and biofilm-attached carriers for a long period of time.SOLUTION: There is provided a method in which raw water is supplied to an aeration tank and a substance to be removed in the raw water is treated with an aerobic biofilm using a biofilm-retaining carrier or granule filled in the aeration tank, and when a specified water quality item for treated water deviates from a specified range when a calculated value of an oxygen diffusivity index, an average particle size of the granule, the amount of biofilm attached (weight) per carrier, and an aeration air volume per raw water load are predetermined upper limits, or when a predetermined time has passed since a start of operation or the above processing, biofilm exfoliation treatment from carrier or partial decomposition treatment of granules is performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】自己造粒グラニュールや生物膜付着担体による好気性生物膜処理を長期的に継続運転することにより処理装置内に保持されている生物膜の量が増加したときに、処理性能を改善する方法と装置を提供する。【解決手段】原水を曝気槽に供給し、曝気槽に充填された生物膜保持担体またはグラニュールにより原水中の除去対象物質を好気性生物膜処理する方法において、酸素拡散性指標の算出値、グラニュールの平均粒径、担体あたりの生物膜の付着量(重量)、原水負荷当たりの曝気風量が所定の上限値であるときにおける処理水の所定水質項目が所定範囲から逸脱したとき、又は運転開始や前記処理から所定時間が経過したときに担体からの生物膜剥離処理又はグラニュールの部分解体処理を行う。【選択図】図1
