To provide a display device, a display system, a computer program, and a content display method, which suppress an increase of a facility use time in accordance with a congestion state while enhancing an advertisement communication effect to a facility user.SOLUTION: A vacant management system includes: a vacant detection sensor 30 having a display terminal 40 installed in a toilet private room 20, and acquiring use state information indicating the presence/absence of a user of the toilet private room 20; and display control means of controlling a display of an advertisement content of the display terminal 40 on the basis of the use state information.
