Zusammenfassung: | To provide: a simpler method for obtaining a polymerizable sulfur-based composition (A); and a method for producing a microparticle dispersion type cured material using a microparticle dispersion type polymerizable composition.SOLUTION: A method for producing a microparticle dispersion type polymerizable composition comprises the steps of: dissolving a sulfur-based dispersant (C), containing 2 or more sulfur atoms or 1 or more episulfide groups in a molecular structure, in a polymerizable sulfur-based composition (A) to obtain a dissolved composition; dispersing metal oxide microparticles (D) in a solvent (B), which cannot be mixed uniformly in the polymerizable sulfur-based composition (A), to obtain a dispersion composition; stirring a liquid phase, containing at least the dissolved composition and the dispersion composition, to thereby surface-modify the metal oxide microparticles (D) with the sulfur-based dispersant (C); and obtaining a microparticle dispersion type polymerizable composition comprising surface-modified metal oxide microparticles (D) dispersed in the polymerizable sulfur-based composition (A).SELECTED DRAWING: None
