Zusammenfassung:	To provide an improved paint system with a good anti-fouling character without defective paint properties.SOLUTION: A paint system contains an anti-fouling metal oxide and fumed silica, where the fumed silica has a BET specific surface area of 150 m2/g to 400 m2/g, a tamped density of 100 g/L to 300 g/L, and a thickening value of less than 500 mPa s, where the percentage by weight of the silica based on the total weight of the paint system is less than or equal to the percentage by weight of the metal and/or oxide thereof based on the total weight of the paint system.
