SPATTER REMOVAL DEVICE FOR WELDED STEEL PIPE

To provide a spatter removal device capable of reducing a poor appearance of a welded steel pipe by reliably removing spatter, capable of being easily mounted on an apparatus for manufacturing the welded steel pipe, and capable of achieving space saving.SOLUTION: A spatter removal device for a welded steel pipe removes spatter produced during welding in an apparatus for manufacturing the welded steel pipe, which molds band steel, continuously supplied from an upstream side, into an open tube, and which has a work coil for heating a V-shaped groove of the open tube and a squeeze roll for welding the heated V-shaped groove by pressure-bonding it.
