Zusammenfassung:To provide a vehicle battery system which can appropriately control a battery loaded on a vehicle.SOLUTION: The vehicle battery system includes: a rechargeable battery 200 which is loaded on a vehicle in an exchangeable manner and is charged by a power generation device 4 to supply power to auxiliary apparatuses 5 of the vehicle; and control means 90. The vehicle battery system determines which battery of a first battery composed of a lithium-ion battery 20, and a second battery 30 having lower charge efficiency than the first battery, is loaded on the vehicle as the rechargeable battery 200.
