In the lithium ion secondary battery, the electrolyte solution-holding rate of the nonwoven fabric separator is 100% or more, and the quantity of the electrolyte solution is 110% or more and 250% or less to a sum total of a pore volume of the positive and negative electrodes, and a separator volume.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】本発明の課題は、長寿命でかつ電解液の浸透時間や初回充電時間が短く、製造効率の高いリチウムイオン二次電池を提供することにある。【解決手段】正極、負極、電解液及び不織布セパレータを含むリチウムイオン二次電池において、不織布セパレータの電解液保液率が100%以上であり、正極及び負極の空孔体積とセパレータ体積の合計に対する電解液量が110%以上250%以下であることを特徴とするリチウムイオン二次電池。【選択図】なし
