Zusammenfassung: | To provide an object detection device capable of precisely calculating the distance between a moving body and an object based on the parallax in a first image and a second image.SOLUTION: An object detection device 20 is applied to a moving body 50 mounted with a first camera 11 and a second camera 12 for picking up a first image and a second image including the parallax and detects an object that exists around the moving body based on the first image and the second image. The object detection device includes: a compound eye distance calculation unit that calculates the distance between the moving body and the object as the compound eye distance based on the parallax obtained from the position of the object on the first image and the position of the object on the second image; a simple eye distance calculation unit that uses either one of the first image and the second image and calculates the distance between the moving body and the object as the simple eye distance based on the size of the object on the one image; and a distance correction unit that acquires a difference value between the compound eye distance and the simple eye distance several times and corrects the compound eye distance based on the median of the acquired multiple differences.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】第1画像及び第2画像における視差に基づいて、移動体と物体との間の距離を精度良く算出できる物体検出装置を提供することにある。【解決手段】視差を含む第1画像及び第2画像を撮影する第1カメラ11及び第2カメラ12が搭載された移動体50に適用され、第1画像及び第2画像に基づいて、移動体の周囲に存在する物体を検出する物体検出装置20であって、第1画像上の物体の位置と第2画像上の物体の位置とから求められる視差に基づいて、移動体と物体との間の距離を複眼距離として算出する複眼距離算出部と、第1画像及び第2画像の一方を用い、当該一方の画像上の物体の大きさに基づいて、移動体と物体との間の距離を単眼距離として算出する単眼距離算出部と、複眼距離と単眼距離との差分値を複数回に亘って取得し、取得された複数の差分値の中間値に基づいて複眼距離を補正する距離補正部と、を備える。【選択図】 図1 |
