Zusammenfassung: | To provide a labyrinth seal capable of effectively suppressing the leakage amount of gas while allowing the response to assembly to insert a rotary body into a stationary body from the axial direction.SOLUTION: The labyrinth seal in one embodiment of this invention includes a first member having a plurality of seal fins arranged at spaces in the axial direction, and a second member opposed to the first member and having a radial clearance formed between each seal fin and itself, the second member being formed so that, when each seal fin is used as a reference, a part of the second member located on the downstream side further than the seal fin does not overlap with the seal fin in view from the axial direction, the second member having an inlet wall located on the upstream side further than the seal fin on the most upstream side and having a radial clearance formed between the first member and itself.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
