Zusammenfassung:To achieve pedestrian protection and secure rigidity with a cowl closed cross section structure at high levels.SOLUTION: A front part vehicle body structure of a vehicle includes: a cowl 2 which supports a front windshield 6 of a vehicle at an attitude at which a front part is lowered and a rear part is risen and which forms a lower edge of a front windshield opening 14; and an engine hood 5 located in front of and above the cowl 2. An upper surface part 2U of the cowl 2 has: a first surface part 24 to which the front windshield 6 is bonded; and a second surface part 25 which inclines downward from the first surface part 24 toward the rear in a vehicle fore and aft direction.
