Zusammenfassung:To provide a ceramic filter having a columnar honeycomb structure that can achieve both high PM collection performance and low pressure loss.SOLUTION: A ceramic filter has a columnar honeycomb structure with a plurality of holes that is observed, from a surface of a porous partition wall using a laser microscope, to have: a slope (y/x), being 0 to 0.20 in 20≤x≤40, of a regression line plotted with equivalent circle diameters (μm) of respective holes on an x-axis, and hole depths (μm) of the respective holes on a y-axis in two-dimensional coordinates obtained by a minimum square method; an average value, being 2.5 μm to 5.0 μm, of hole depths of the plurality of holes; and a number density, being 600 holes/mm2 to 2450 holes/mm2, of the plurality of holes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】PMの高捕集性能及び低圧損を両立可能な柱状ハニカム構造を有するセラミックス製のフィルタを提供する。【解決手段】多孔質の隔壁の表面から複数の孔をレーザー顕微鏡を用いて観察したとき、各孔の円相当径(μm)をx軸、各孔の孔深さ(μm)をy軸として、二次元座標に円相当径及び孔深さをプロットし、20≦x≦40において最小二乗法により求めた回帰直線の傾き(y/x)が0〜0.20であり、前記複数の孔の孔深さの平均値が2.5μm〜5.0μmであり、且つ、前記複数の孔の個数密度が600個/mm2〜2450個/mm2である柱状ハニカム構造を有するセラミックス製のフィルタ。【選択図】図1
