Zusammenfassung:To provide an operator with an image of the periphery while reducing power consumption for image display.SOLUTION: An image display system comprises: first imaging means for imaging a peripheral area in a predetermined direction of a mobile object; first display means provided to be visible by an operator and displaying an image captured by the first imaging means; a mirror provided to be visible by the operator and reflecting the peripheral area in the predetermined direction of the mobile object; and determination means for determining the visibility of the peripheral area reflected by the mirror.
