To provide a floodlight capable of suppressing glare felt by athletes in a stadium, and capable of securing sufficient brightness of the stadium.SOLUTION: A floodlight 1 comprises a plurality of light emitting elements, and is flooded and illuminated by light of each of the light emitting elements. In the light emitting element, a lens 42 having a total reflection paraboloid 50 for controlling the light of the light emitting element is provided for each light emitting element, and an angle α formed by a straight line LA that connects a maximum outer diameter part PM of a light emitting unit 44 of the light emitting element and an exit edge part 42T2E of the lens 42 and passes through an optical axis AM of the light emitting element, and the optical axis AM of the light emitting element is set within a range of 10 degrees and 35 degrees.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】競技場において競技者が感じるグレアを抑制できるとともに、競技場の十分な明るさを確保することが可能な投光器を提供すること。【解決手段】複数の発光素子を備え、前記発光素子のそれぞれの光によって投光照明する投光器１において、前記発光素子の光を制御する全反射放物面５０を有するレンズ４２を前記発光素子ごとに備え、前記発光素子の発光部４４の最大外径部ＰＭと前記レンズ４２の出射端縁部４２Ｔ２Ｅとを結び、かつ、前記発光素子の光軸ＡＭを通る直線ＬＡと、前記発光素子の光軸ＡＭとが成す角度αが１０度から３５度の間である構成とした。【選択図】図６
