Zusammenfassung: | To provide a structure which follows a shape of a mating face at an internal peripheral side without causing a seal 31 to be largely elastically deformed in an axial direction, does not form a clearance, can improve sealing performance, and hardly generates a crack caused by a stress concentration even if the seal 31 is repeatedly pushed to a metal ring 21 by a pressure variation.SOLUTION: A sealing device comprises a metal ring 21, a chamfered part 26 arranged in a region over one end face 23 in an axial direction from an internal peripheral face 22 of the metal ring 21, and a rubbery elastic-body made seal 31 which adheres to a surface of the metal ring 21 including the chamfered part 26 and one end face 23 in the axial direction. When setting a minimum inside diameter dimension of the metal ring 21 as d1, and setting an inside diameter dimension of the seal 31 in the same position as an inside diameter point in the axial direction in which the dimension becomes minimum as d, a relation of d≤d1≤1.1d is satisfied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】シール31が軸方向へ大きく弾性変形することなく内周側の相手面の形状に追随し、スキマを生じず、密封性能を向上させることができ、併せて、圧力変動によりシール31が金属環21に繰り返し押し付けられても応力集中によるクラックを発生しにくい構造を提供する。【解決手段】金属環21と、金属環21の内周面22から軸方向一方の端面23へかけての部位に設けられた面取り部26と、面取り部26および軸方向一方の端面23を含む金属環21の表面に接着されたゴム状弾性体製のシール31と、を備える。金属環21の最小内径寸法をd1、寸法が最小となる内径箇所と軸方向同一位置におけるシール31の内径寸法をdとして、d≦d1≦1.1dの関係を充足する。【選択図】図1 |
