PULP MOLD COMPACT

To provide a light-weight pulp mold compact having excellent hygroscopic property, water resistance and adiabaticity and also excellent mechanical strength, fire resistance, and surface designability by using a raw material with low environmental load.SOLUTION: A pulp mold compact includes (A) a pulp and (B) at least one powdery matter selected from an egg shell, a shell, and a shell fossil, wherein a content of the powdery matter (B) in a total amount of the pulp (A) (dry weight) and the powdery matter (B) is in a range of 10 wt.% or more and less than 50 wt.%.
