To provide a shelf opening device which can automatically open a folded shelf (returns a folded state to an initial state (shelf state)).SOLUTION: A shelf opening device 1 includes: a shelf opening unit 14 vertically movable on a back face side of a frame body; a shelf opening unit driving part 13; an inclination formation part 15 provided on the shelf opening unit 14; a first preliminary opening part 17 which is inserted to a gap of an inward-folded part so that an open state of an acute angle formed in the inward-folded part of the folded shelf in an inclined state or a cantilever state in the inclination formation part 15 becomes larger; a second preliminary opening part 27 inserted to a position in contact with a bottom surface (front shelf plate part 322f) on a front side while sandwiching a hinge of the folded shelf; and an extrusion part 16 which extrudes the folded shelf forward, and mounts the folded shelf on a mounting rail.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2C 【課題】折畳棚を自動で開放する（折畳状態を元の状態（棚状態）に戻す）ことができる、棚開放装置を提供する。【解決手段】棚開放装置１は、フレーム本体の背面側で上下方向に可動する棚開放ユニット１４と、棚開放ユニット駆動部１３と、棚開放ユニット１４に設けられる傾斜形成部１５と、傾斜形成部１５で傾斜状態あるいは片持ち上げ状態にある折畳棚の中折れで形成される鋭角の開き状態を大きくするために、当該中折れの隙間に挿入される第一予備開放部１７と、折畳棚のヒンジを挟んで前方側の底面（前方棚板部３２２ｆ）に接する位置に挿入される第二予備開放部２７と、前方へ折畳棚を押し出し、載置レールに当該折畳棚を載置させる押出部１６とを備える。【選択図】図２Ｃ
