Zusammenfassung: | To improve the visibility of a driver to suppress the deterioration of the visibility of a road condition in front of a vehicle in an environment where the visibility of a road condition deteriorates.SOLUTION: A headlight control device comprises an outside camera 11 and a traveling scene determination unit 31 that detect the visibility of a road condition in front of a vehicle, and a headlight control unit 32 that controls the brightness of a headlight 20. The headlight control unit 32 can adjust a brightness gradient, which is a difference between the brightness of a portion far from the vehicle and the brightness of a portion near the vehicle, in light emitted by the headlight 20. Further, when the traveling scene determination unit 31 detects the deterioration of the visibility, the headlight control unit 32 executes brightness adjustment control of increasing the brightness gradient as compared with a case where the deterioration of the visibility is not detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
【課題】道路状況の視認性が悪化するような環境において、ドライバの視認能力を改善して、車両前方の道路状況の視認性が悪化するのを抑制する。【解決手段】車両前方の道路状況の視認性を検出する車外カメラ11及び走行シーン判定部31と、ヘッドライト20の輝度を制御するヘッドライト制御部32とを備え、ヘッドライト制御部32は、ヘッドライト20が照射する光において、車両遠方側の部分の輝度と車両近傍側の部分の輝度との差である輝度勾配を調整可能であり、さらにヘッドライト制御部32は、走行シーン判定部31により視認性の悪化が検出されたときには、視認性の悪化が検出されないときと比較して、輝度勾配を大きくする輝度調整制御を実行する。【選択図】図6 |
