Zusammenfassung:To provide a saddle riding electric vehicle that enables weight of a vehicle body thereof to be reduced and enables optimum battery arrangement to be obtained, by devising vehicle body frame structure.SOLUTION: A saddle riding electric vehicle is provided, including: a head pipe (F1); a main frame (F2) extending rearward and downward from the head pipe (F1); an underframe (F3) that continues to a lower end of the main frame (f2) and extends rearward; a cross frame (F5) that is connected to a rear portion of the under frame (F3) and extends in a vehicle width direction; a pair of right and left rear frames (F4) extending rearward and upward from the cross frame (F5); and a battery (B) supplying electric power to a motor (M) that works as a driving source. In the saddle riding electric vehicle, the cross frame (F5) is formed of a pipe material having a diameter larger than that of the underframe (F3).
