To provide a writing instrument in which an ink guiding core looks slender on a groove part even when the ink guiding core is made thick, for securing an amount of ink outflow to a writing part, for improving visibility in the writing time.SOLUTION: A pen point 40 comprises: a porous body 45 which serves as a writing part; and an ink guiding core for holding the porous body 45 and supplying an ink to the writing part, in which the ink guiding core is provided in the holding body. The holding body 55 serves as a visible part in which a writing direction can be visually recognized.
