To provide an ink tank such that it can be inspected whether a lid part of the ink tank is bonded normally.SOLUTION: An ink tank according to the present invention comprises: a first storage chamber having a supply port for supplying ink to a recording head discharging the ink; a second storage chamber having an atmosphere introduction port capable of introducing the atmosphere; a partition wall which partitions off the first storage chamber and second storage chamber; and a communication path provided to the partition wall to allow the first storage chamber and second storage chamber to communicate with each other.
