The battery unit further comprises: an upper-face covering material 61 which covers an upper face of the battery 2 inside the case 3; an air suction part 61a, provided on the upper-face covering material 61, which sucks air from the outside of the case 3 to a space above of the battery 2; a lower-face covering material 62 which covers a lower face of the battery 2 inside the case 3; an air discharge part 62a, provided on the lower-face covering material 62, which discharges the air that has cooled or heated the battery 2; and a fan 63, disposed under the lower-face covering material 62, which sucks the air discharged from the air discharge part 62a so as to discharge it to a space between the lower-face covering material 62 and a bottom part 31a of the case 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
