METHOD OF REPAIRING PILLAR WALL OF REGENERATION CHAMBER IN COKE OVEN

To prevent breakage of a side wall of a combustion chamber from occurring by operating another combustion chamber other than the combustion chamber to be repaired during repair work of a coke oven, and to repair a coke oven while suppressing lowering of the productivity of coke even during repair work of a coke oven.SOLUTION: A method of repairing a pillar wall partitioning a regeneration chamber and an adjacent regeneration chamber in a coke oven, comprises a step of dismantling at least a portion of bricks constituting a pillar wall to be repaired and bricks constituting a combustion chamber disposed above the pillar wall, and a step of subsequently laying bricks again on the positions of the bricks having been dismantled to carry out the repair work, while providing a partition wall beforehand in a regeneration chamber on the opposite side of a regeneration chamber communicating with the combustion chamber whose bricks are to be dismantled, among regeneration chambers on either side of the pillar wall to be repaired.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】コークス炉の補修中において、補修対象の燃焼室以外の燃焼室を稼働させることにより、燃焼室の側壁に割損が生じるのを抑制し、コークス炉の補修時にもコークスの生産性低下を抑制した状態で、コークス炉を補修することを目的とする。【解決手段】コークス炉の蓄熱室と隣接する蓄熱室とを仕切るピラーウォールを補修する方法であって、補修対象のピラーウォールを構成する煉瓦の少なくとも一部と、このピラーウォールの上方に配される燃焼室を構成する煉瓦を解体し、次いで、解体された部位に煉瓦を積み直すことにより、前記の補修が行われ、補修対象のピラーウォールの両側の蓄熱室のうち、煉瓦の解体が行われる燃焼室と連通した蓄熱室と反対側の蓄熱室の内部に予め間仕切り壁を設ける。【選択図】図１
