Zusammenfassung: | To provide a magnetic recording medium having high anisotropy field Hk and exhibiting excellent electromagnetic conversion performance.SOLUTION: The magnetic recording medium includes a nonmagnetic support medium and a magnetic layer containing ferromagnetic powder. An anisotropy field Hk is 12 kOe or more. Centre line average roughness Ra of a surface of the magnetic recording medium at a magnetic layer side is 1.2 nm or less. A ratio θr is 0.95 or less, of a contact angle θ1 with respect to 1-bromonaphthalene measured on the surface of the magnetic layer side before immersion of 1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 4, 5, 5, 5-decafluoropentane to a contact angle θ2 with respect to 1-bromonaphthalene measured on the surface of the magnetic layer side after the immersion of 1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 4, 5, 5, 5-decafluoropentane. A magnetic tape cartridge including the magnetic recording medium and a magnetic recording/reproducing apparatus are also provided.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】異方性磁界Hkが高く、かつ優れた電磁変換特性を発揮することができる磁気記録媒体を提供すること。【解決手段】非磁性支持体と強磁性粉末を含む磁性層とを有する磁気記録媒体。異方性磁界Hkは12kOe以上であり、上記磁気記録媒体の磁性層側の表面の中心線平均粗さRaは1.2nm以下であり、1,1,1,2,2,3,4,5,5,5−デカフルオロペンタン浸漬前に上記磁性層側の表面において測定される1−ブロモナフタレンに対する接触角θ1に対する、1,1,1,2,2,3,4,5,5,5−デカフルオロペンタン浸漬後に上記磁性層側の表面において測定される1−ブロモナフタレンに対する接触角θ2の比率θrは0.95以下である。上記磁気記録媒体を含む磁気テープカートリッジおよび磁気記録再生装置。【選択図】なし |
