Zusammenfassung:To provide a housing box that is enhanced in rigidity and can suppress ink from spreading when printing on an outer surface of the housing box.SOLUTION: A housing box 10 is in a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape having six face parts which are a top face part 11, a bottom face part 13, a pair of short side face parts 21, 22, and a pair of long side face parts 12, 14. The pair of short side face parts 21, 22 consist of inner flaps 121, 141 and 122, 142, and outer flaps 111, 131 and 112 and 132, and a fiber orientation ratio (H/W) of a direction (W) orthogonal to a height direction (H) of the outer flaps 111, 131 and 112, 132, or the long side face parts 12, 14 to the height direction is 1.00 to 3.00.
