VEHICLE IMPACT RELAXATION STRUCTURE

To alleviate restriction on design of an exterior member while securing smooth deformation of an impact absorption member.SOLUTION: In a vehicle impact relaxation structure (4), an impact absorption member (20) disposed at the vehicle inner side compressively deforms a load F input to an exterior member (10) in a load input direction and absorbs the load. The vehicle impact relaxation structure 4 is provided with a guide member (40) which guides a part of the exterior member (13), which faces a part of the impact absorption member (20), in another direction different from the load input direction so as to separate the part of the exterior member (13) from the impact absorption member (20) when the part of the impact absorption member (20) deforms in the other direction in a process of compressive deformation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 【課題】衝撃吸収部材のスムーズな変形を確保しつつ、外装部材の意匠的な制約の緩和を図ることにある。【解決手段】外装部材（１０）に入力された荷重Ｆを、その車両内側に配設された衝撃吸収部材（２０）が荷重入力方向に圧縮変形して吸収する車両の衝撃緩和構造４において、衝撃吸収部材（２０）の一部が、圧縮変形の過程において荷重入力方向とは異なる他方向に変形する際に、それに面している外装部材の一部（１３）を衝撃吸収部材（２０）から離間させるように他方向に導くガイド部材（４０）が設けられている。【選択図】図８
