VEHICLE CONTROL SYSTEM

To provide a vehicle control system which is favorable in operability while preventing an internal combustion engine from being started in a state that an automatic transmission is switched to a drive range.SOLUTION: A vehicle control system (30) has; an ignition switch (28); a range operation part (22) which is constituted so as to stay in an operation position; a transmission actuator (16); and a vehicle control unit (20) having a range determination circuit (20d) for determining an actual range of the automatic transmission (6), and an internal combustion engine start prohibition circuit (20e) for prohibiting a start of an internal combustion engine by a prescribed condition when a start operation is performed. When the automatic transmission is in the drive range when a stop operation of the internal combustion engine is performed, the vehicle control system switches the drive range to a non-drive range. When a range of the automatic transmission which is set at a start operation and an actual range do not coincide with each other and the set range is the drive range, the internal combustion engine start prohibition circuit prohibits the start.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】自動変速機が駆動レンジに切り換えられた状態で、内燃機関が始動されるのを防止しながら、操作性が良好な車両制御システムを提供する。【解決手段】本発明は、車両制御システム(30)であって、イグニッションスイッチ(28)と、操作位置に留まるように構成されたレンジ操作部(22)と、変速機アクチュエータ(16)と、自動変速機(6)の実際のレンジを判定するレンジ判定回路(20d)、及び始動操作が行われたとき、所定条件により内燃機関の始動を禁止する内燃機関始動禁止回路(20e)を備えた車両制御ユニット(20)と、を有し、内燃機関の停止操作が行われた際に、自動変速機が駆動レンジであった場合に、非駆動レンジに切り替え、内燃機関始動禁止回路は、始動操作の際に設定された自動変速機のレンジと、実際のレンジが一致せず、且つ設定されたレンジが駆動レンジであった場合に始動を禁止することを特徴としている。【選択図】図５
