Zusammenfassung: | To provide a method for separating vanadium having a high recovery rate at low cost, a method for producing an electrolyte for a redox flow battery, an apparatus for separating vanadium, and an apparatus for producing an electrolyte for a redox flow battery.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for separating vanadium from a vanadium-containing material containing at least a tetravalent and/or pentavalent vanadium compound and ammonium sulfate ((NH4)2SO4) and/or ammonium hydrogen sulfate (NH4HSO4). The method comprises a thermal decomposition step, in which the vanadium-containing material is heated to 450°C or higher to volatilize ammonia gas (NH3) and sulfate gas (SO3 and/or SO2) and to produce at least one kind of Vanadium(IV) Oxide Sulfate (VOSO4), Vanadium (V) Oxide (V2O5) and Vanadium (IV) Oxide (V2O4).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】低コストで回収率が高いバナジウム分離方法、及びレドックス・フロー電池用電解液の製造方法、並びにバナジウム分離装置、及びレドックス・フロー電池用電解液の製造装置を提供する。【解決手段】4価及び/又は5価のバナジウム化合物と、硫酸アンモニウム((NH4)2SO4)及び/又は硫酸水素アンモニウム(NH4HSO4)と、を少なくとも含有するバナジウム含有物からバナジウムを分離するバナジウム分離方法であって、バナジウム含有物を450℃以上に加熱してアンモニアガス(NH3)及び硫酸ガス(SO3及び/又はSO2)を揮発させ、酸化硫酸バナジウム(IV)(VOSO4)、五酸化バナジウム(V2O5)及び四酸化二バナジウム(V2O4)の少なくとも1種類を生成させる熱分解工程と、を備えることを特徴とするバナジウム分離方法である。【選択図】図2 |
