CONTROL CIRCUIT OF POWER CONVERTER

To provide a control circuit of a power converter capable of determining whether or not a pulse command generator 112 is normal.SOLUTION: A control circuit 50 is applied to a system having first and second shutoff switches 23a and 23b provided in electric paths 22H and 22L that connect a high-voltage power supply 30 and a switching device unit, a smoothing capacitor 24 connected to the electric paths, a discharge resistor 26 connected in parallel to the smoothing capacitor 24, and a series connection body in the discharge switch 27. The control circuit 50 includes: a pulse command generating unit 112 that outputs a driving command SgG of the discharge switch 27, based on a discharge command CmdAD of a microcomputer 60; a driving circuit 113 that performs drive control of the discharge switch 27, based on the output driving command SgG; and an operation detection unit 114 that detects a gate voltage Vgs of the discharge switch 27.
