Zusammenfassung:To provide a magnetic toner that is resistant to an environmental change, is excellent in low-temperature fixability, and can prevent uneven melting of toner and electrostatic offset even under a severe environment.SOLUTION: A magnetic toner has a magnetic toner particle containing a binder resin, a magnetic substance, and crystalline polyester. In observation of the cross section of the magnetic toner particle using a transmission electron microscope, when the cross section of the magnetic toner particle is partitioned by a square grid with one side of 0.8 μm, the coefficient of variation CV3 of the occupied area ratio of the magnetic substance is 40.0% or more and 80.0% or less. When the storage elastic modulus at 40°C is E'(40)[Pa] and the storage elastic modulus at 85°C is E'(85)[Pa], which are obtained in powder dynamic viscoelasticity measurement of the magnetic toner, the following formula (1) and (2) are satisfied. (1) E'(85)≤2.0×109; (2)[E'(40)-E'(85)]×100/E'(40)≥70.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】環境変化に強く、低温定着性に優れ、厳しい環境下でもトナーの溶融ムラ及び静電オフセットを抑制できる磁性トナー。【解決手段】結着樹脂、磁性体及び結晶性ポリエステルを含有する磁性トナー粒子を有する磁性トナーであって、透過型電子顕微鏡を用いた該磁性トナー粒子の断面観察において、一辺が0.8μmの正方グリッドで該磁性トナー粒子の断面を区切った際の該磁性体の占有面積率の変動係数CV3が、40.0%以上80.0%以下であり、該磁性トナーの粉体動的粘弾性測定において得られる、40℃における貯蔵弾性率をE'(40)[Pa]とし、85℃における貯蔵弾性率をE'(85)[Pa]としたときに、下記式(1)及び(2)を満たすことを特徴とする磁性トナー。E'(85)≦ 2.0×109・・・(1)[E'(40)−E'(85)]×100/E'(40)≧70 ・・・(2)【選択図】なし
