To provide a metal component which suppresses extrusion of a deformed part outward during engagement with another component while allowing dimensional accuracy to be improved and which can reduce deformation as a component so as to be able to improve engagement force.SOLUTION: A metal component 10 includes: an engagement part 80 capable of engaging with inserted another component; and a step-like inclined part which is provided at the engagement part 80 and which inclines from one end side toward the other end side in a thickness direction in such a manner that the engagement part 80 is separated in a width direction.
