SEALING SPATULA AND METHOD FOR FILLING SEALING MATERIAL

To provide a sealing spatula and a method for filling the sealing material, which can improve the performance of filling the sealing material while having a simple structure.SOLUTION: There is provided a sealing spatula 1 for filling joints with sealing material, the joint being formed with a tapered surface whose width gradually decreases in the depth direction along a pair of adjacent sides of a pair of panels and a recess in which a sealing material is continuously filled in the depth direction of the tapered surface. It includes a band-shaped plate-shaped portion 2 in which the width direction is orthogonal to and in contact with the extending direction of the joint and when moving along the extending direction, the sealing material piled up in the recess is leveled by a predetermined angle less than perpendicular to the moving direction, and the recess is filled with the sealing material.
