Zusammenfassung:To keep an operable time of a vacuum cleaner to be operated with a secondary battery as a power source.SOLUTION: A cleaner 100 includes: an electric blower 41 for generating an air flow to suck dust; a secondary battery 44 for supplying drive power being the power to drive the electric blower 41; a secondary battery deterioration detection section 58 for detecting a battery deterioration degree being a degree of deterioration of the secondary battery 44; and a control section 57 and an electric blower drive section 51a for performing control to reduce drive power in response to a battery deterioration degree.
