Zusammenfassung: | To provide a drive device having a structure which can improve the cooling efficiency of a stator.SOLUTION: The drive device includes: a motor having a rotor rotatable around a motor shaft, which extends in a direction intersecting with the vertical direction, and a stator 30 positioned outside the radial direction of the rotor; and a first coolant injection part 11 and a second coolant injection part 12 which are arranged outside the radial direction of the stator with a gap therebetween in the circumferential direction, to inject coolant toward the stator. At least one of the first and second coolant injection parts includes inside injection nozzles 14a, 14b which are open in the circumferential direction with inclination to the side on which the other coolant injection part is positioned with respect to the direction of the motor shaft. The first and second coolant injection parts respectively include outside injection nozzles 15a, 15b which are open in the circumferential direction with inclination to the opposite side to the position of the other coolant injection part with respect to the direction of the motor shaft. 【課題】ステータの冷却効率を向上できる構造を有する駆動装置を提供する。【解決手段】駆動装置は、鉛直方向と交差する方向に延びるモータ軸を中心として回転可能なロータ、およびロータの径方向外側に位置するステータ30を有するモータと、ステータの径方向外側において互いに周方向に間隔を空けて配置され、ステータに向けて冷媒を噴射する第1冷媒噴射部11および第2冷媒噴射部12と、を備える。第1冷媒噴射部および第2冷媒噴射部の少なくとも一方は、モータ軸を向く向きに対して、周方向において他方の冷媒噴射部が位置する側に傾いて開口する内側噴射口14a,14bを有する。第1冷媒噴射部および第2冷媒噴射部は、モータ軸を向く向きに対して、周方向において他方の冷媒噴射部が位置する側と逆側に傾いて開口する外側噴射口15a,15bをそれぞれ有する。外側噴射口の総開口面積は、内側噴射口の総開口面積よりも大きい。【選択図】図5 |
