DESIGN SUPPORT SYSTEM

To exploit designer's knowledge, allow a maintenance worker to input a failure condition useful in exploring a cause of a failure, and update a failure causal model.SOLUTION: A design support system includes a designer terminal, a maintenance worker terminal, and a design support device. The design support device includes: a failure causal model database; a failure causal model update unit that updates a failure causal model on the basis of a presumable cause of an inputted failure of an object apparatus; a maintenance support unit that estimates a sort of a failure which exhibits a high occurrence probability, and a cause of the failure on the basis of the inputted condition of the object apparatus and the failure causal model, and outputs the sort and cause to the maintenance worker terminal; a maintenance record database that stores authenticity information which is inputted from the maintenance worker terminal, with respect to the estimated sort and cause of the failure; and a failure cause analysis unit that updates the failure causal model on the basis of the authenticity information stored in the maintenance record database, estimates the cause of the failure of the object apparatus on the basis of the updated failure causal model, and outputs the cause of the failure to the designer terminal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】 設計者の知見を活かし、故障原因の究明に有用な故障症状を保全員に入力させ、故障因果モデルを更新する。【解決手段】 設計者用端末と保全員用端末と設計支援装置を備え、設計支援装置は、故障因果モデルデータベースと、入力された対象機器の故障の想定原因に基づいて、故障因果モデルを更新する故障因果モデル更新部と、入力された対象機器の症状と故障因果モデルに基づいて、発生確率の高い故障の種類とその原因を推定し、保全員用端末に出力する保全支援部と、推定した故障の種類とその原因について、保全員用端末から入力された真偽情報を記憶する保全記録データベースと、保全記録データベースに蓄積された真偽情報に基づいて、故障因果モデルを更新するとともに、更新した故障因果モデルに基づいて、対象機器の故障原因を推定し、設計者用端末に出力する故障原因分析部と、を備える設計支援システム。【選択図】 図１
