To achieve gasification of a wide variety of solid raw materials while curbing cost.SOLUTION: A gasification system comprises: a first gasification furnace of a fixed bed or a fluidized bed for gasifying a first solid raw material to produce a first gasified gas; a second gasification furnace of an entrained bed; and a second raw material supply part provided independently of the first gasification furnace and for supplying a second solid raw material from a raw material supply source other than the first gasification furnace to a loading port of the second gasification furnace. The second gasification furnace comprises: a first gas line through which the first gasified gas from the first gasification furnace flows; a gas inlet connected to the first gas line; and the loading port of the second solid raw material.
