Zusammenfassung:To favorably mix intake air which has passed through an intercooler and an EGR gas.SOLUTION: An intake device of an engine comprises an intercooler 23, an intake passage 20 including a downstream-side intake passage 24 located at a side downstream of a chamber 51 of the intercooler 23, and an EGR passage 361 for making an EGR gas recirculate to the downstream-side intake passage 24. An intake air send-out opening 54 opened at an opening area which is throttled to an area of a downstream-side side face 52B of an intercooler core 52 is formed at a downstream-side sidewall 514 of the chamber 51. The downstream-side intake passage 24 includes an extension passage part 242 extending upward along the downstream-side sidewall 514. The intake air send-out opening 54 includes an upper edge part 541 for separating an intake air flow from an inside wall face 243 of the extension passage part 242, and forming fluidization main streams R1, R2 of intake air in the extension passage part 242. An EGR introduction port 45 is formed at a position out of which the EGR gas can be blown toward the fluidization main streams R1, R2 of the intake air.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15 【課題】インタークーラーを通過した吸気とEGRガスとを良好にミキシングする。【解決手段】エンジンの吸気装置は、インタークーラー23と、インタークーラー23のチャンバ51よりも下流に位置する下流側吸気通路24を含む吸気通路20と、EGRガスを下流側吸気通路24に還流させるEGR通路361とを備える。チャンバ51の下流側壁514には、インタークーラーコア52の下流側面52Bの面積に対して絞られた開口面積で開口する吸気送出開口54が形成されている。下流側吸気通路24は、下流側壁514に沿って上方へ延びる延出通路部242を含む。吸気送出開口54は、吸気流を延出通路部242の内側壁面243から離間させると共に、吸気の流動主流R1、R2を延出通路部242内に形成させる上縁部541を含む。EGR導入口45は、吸気の流動主流R1、R2に向けてEGRガスを吹き出し可能な位置に配置されている。【選択図】図15
