Zusammenfassung: | To inhibit leakage of a fluid, such as swirl flow, occurring around a rotor and achieve reduction of an exciting force applied to a rotor.SOLUTION: In a rotary machine 1 having: a rotor 5; a case 6 which is provided enclosing the outer side of the rotor 5; and seal fins 8a, 8b which are provided protruding from at least one of the rotor 5 and the case 6, a fluid controller 9 controls swirl flow F1 circulating between the seal fin 8a and the rotor 5 or between the seal fin 8b and the case 6. The fluid controller 9 includes a first fluid control device 10 which generates induction flow F2 in a reverse flow direction that is opposite to a swirl flow F1 circulation direction in an axial direction of the rotor 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
