ADAPTER

To provide an adapter for easily adjusting a difference between an inner diameter of a winding core and an outer diameter of a sheet take-up shaft.SOLUTION: There is provided an adapter 1 for mounting to a sheet take-up shaft a winding core having an inner diameter different from that of a winding core to be directly mounted on the sheet take-up shaft, in which the sheet take-up shaft has a chuck mechanism for fixing/releasing the winding core to be directly mounted to/from the sheet take-up shaft. The adapter 1 comprises: a shaft hole 11 for being externally fitted on the sheet take-up shaft; an outer peripheral surface 14 where the winding core 3 is mounted; a holding tool 16 for holding the winding core 3 on the outer peripheral surface 14; and switching means 19 for switching between holding and releasing of the winding core 3 on and from the outer peripheral surface 14 by the holding tool 16.
