To provide a wire with a socket capable of suppressing the increase in resistance due to a skin effect.SOLUTION: The wire with a socket includes a conductor having a plurality of conductors bundled in a cylindrical shape, an insulating coating covering the conductor, a core disposed in a hollow part of each of the conductors at the end of the conductor, and a socket electrically connected to the conductor. The socket has a first insertion section into which an end of the conductor is inserted in an axial direction of the conductor and a second insertion section into which a connecting pin can be inserted.
